Joking guesses: Enforcer? Bouncer? Masked vigilante? Traveling monk?
...Apparently I was pretty close.
i.imgur.com/JfL3WQz.pngIt might be better to just call her (at least in battle) Ms. Hatchet, like how Aika is just called Aika, not Aika Shiroyuri.
i.imgur.com/6n17Of8.pngThe above is absolutely hilarious, but... any chance of slightly more of a reaction from Adriana than this?
i.imgur.com/ob3ljDQ.pngI mean, she could buy a lifetime's supply of booze for that. Or
the most expensive some very expensive wine. (Sorry, I forgot for a moment that Fredriika's drinking habits are probably more expensive than if she just ate million-HRT notes for breakfast.)
i.imgur.com/1DfhiFe.pngGiven their lack of fire resistance, the fact that Crimson Legs (and Stone Monkeys) take damage from Hot Rocks makes some amount of sense, but it's still kind of a gameplay problem if you can just wait at the base tile for them to all die...
i.imgur.com/VPrpNyL.pngWhere's my wish?
I was about to note a bug where "Mei can't fly over certain surfaces", then I realized that's not what was actually happening. Seems like Waterwalk lets you walk on lava. With predictable but hilarious results.
i.imgur.com/z5Id3gM.pngSometimes I wish Aika was the main character around whom the whole game revolved. I mean, more than she already is. Actually, I wish that almost every time she says something. Are you saving all the best lines for her?
i.imgur.com/SXrHKfr.pngOK never mind, that's pretty funny. Arthur can stay...
i.imgur.com/RmEaCdr.png...and Bianca...
i.imgur.com/Pko1jjU.png...and Amara. OK, everyone has their moments. But my point stands! Aika is still my favorite!
i.imgur.com/WlvTCVG.pngi.imgur.com/mYLLilP.pngThat expression doesn't really fit what she's saying... like, even before the follow-up.
i.imgur.com/4p98Ntn.pngi.imgur.com/qPb5mhT.pngHow does anyone as
anal organized as Bianca not
meticulously plan all her holidays months in advance have some sort of schedule? Is life on Yurishima just so constantly
dangerous chaotic that there's no point making any specific plans for the future, because you might get
killed unwillingly dragged off on a grand adventure at any moment?
i.imgur.com/CR2uRq7.pngWait, but you just put poison in them. Shouldn't that be "and you will die"?
This whole line might be more impactful if the red was used for highlighting instead of just splashed over the whole thing? I wouldn't agonize over it though.
Why did Bianca get tired out trying to catch up with the party if Amara already knew where they were thanks to scrying magic? Was the foot of Mt. Nalaar the closest they could teleport?
It struck me as slightly weird that I'd had an attack called Vermillion Bird Fist for like 20 levels already, but then I shrugged it off as being named for the martial arts style, not the soul.
Actually, the whole thing of Haun getting the soul was really abrupt in general -- this might be because of the bug(?). I'm familiar with the trope being invoked, but I don't think anything was ever mentioned earlier in the episode about what the soul was, let alone it responding to the desire to protect others.
Fire Temple 2F:I was actually pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to fight Ashley (powered up and completely misunderstanding the situation) for real. It broke the pattern of the last few episodes and made Bianca and Amara's appearance pretty much completely pointless, but amusing because while Bianca's timing (arriving right before the boss) was impeccable, she was also absolutely no help at all (the fighting was over when she got there). In hindsight, kind of surprised nobody pointed this out. Even a shocked reaction to the successful diplomatic resolution from Bianca would have been good... wait. Is this a bug? It's probably a bug, isn't it...?
